What you can expect

Step into the living landscape of the Ifugao highlands, where the Banaue and Batad Rice Terraces unfold not as scenery, but as a centuries-old way of life still actively shaped by its people.

Carved by hand over 2,000 years ago without machinery or modern tools, these terraces are more than a UNESCO World Heritage Site, they are a continuing dialogue between culture, land, and resilience. Here, every path is still used, every wall still maintained, and every village still living within the rhythm of tradition.

This is not a sightseeing tour, but a slow immersion into mountain life where you move through stone-lined trails, descend into hidden villages, and witness the terraces not from a distance, but from within the community that sustains them.

Designed for travellers seeking depth over distance, this journey blends guided trekking, quiet cultural exchange, and raw natural beauty, offering a rare opportunity to experience the Cordilleras not as visitors, but as welcomed guests in a living heritage landscape.

A meaningful escape that goes beyond exploration: into connection, presence, and place.

Day 2: Batad Village and Tappiya Falls

After breakfast, hike to the stunning Tappiya Falls. Take a refreshing swim in the cool waters and enjoy traditional snacks.
