Wat Traimit Withayaram Worawihan (Golden Buddha) (Pass by)
Wat Traimit in Bangkok is known for housing a 5.5-tonne statue of a seated Buddha. The gold sculpture dates back to the 13th century and measures at nearly 5 metres in height. Wat Mangkon Kamalawat (Pass by)
Opened as Wat Leng Noei Yi in the 1870s, the temple served as an introduction of Mahayana Buddhism in Bangkok. King Chulalongkorn later renamed it to its present title. The temple is decorated with plenty of animal, floral and Chinese dragon motifs. The ordination hall houses the temples gold coloured Buddha.
