  • When visiting Wat Arun and Wat Pho in Bangkok, you are entering sacred Buddhist temples, so respectful attire is required.
  • What to wear: Tops: Shoulders must be covered. Wear T-shirts, blouses, or shirts with sleeves (no tank tops or spaghetti straps). Bottoms: Wear long pants, skirts, or dresses that cover the knees. Capri pants are usually acceptable if they go past the knees. Footwear: Sandals or shoes are fine, but you must remove them before entering temple buildings. Avoid going barefoot—wear socks if needed. Accessories: Hats and sunglasses should be removed when inside temple buildings.

09:30 AM / 2:30 PM – Visit Wat Pho, home to the majestic 46-meter-long Reclining Buddha. Explore the temple’s rich history and serene grounds. 10:30 AM / 3:30 PM – Board the Heritage Boat at Wat Pho Pier for a scenic cruise along the Chao Phraya River. Pass bustling markets, riverside homes, and admire Bangkok’s skyline. 11:00 AM / 4:00 PM – Continue cruising with riverside views, including a passing glimpse of the Royal Barge Museum (no stop). 11:30 AM / 4:30 PM – Stop at Wat Rakhang (Temple of the Bells). Explore the grounds and capture memorable photos. 12:30 PM / 5:30 PM – Conclude your tour at the iconic Wat Arun (Temple of Dawn). From here, continue exploring on your own or return to your hotel.
