What you can expect

  • Begin your tour outside the Guggenheim Museum and learn about the storey behind its construction, the Guggenheim Effect, and how this emblematic museum was built from New York to Bilbao.

    After the presentation, walk along the Left River Bank to reach the entrance of the ARTXANDA FUNICULAR and go all the way to the top to enjoy the view of the city from the ARTXANDA HILL.

    After coming back down with the Funicular, from the Zubizuri Bridge, we'll continue to visit and know about the modern architecture of Bilbao and its history as a big industrial city.

    Take a brief break in one of the city's most beautiful parks, where you can have a coffee while your guide shares interesting facts about the Basque Country.

    After the break, continue from the Gran Via, the most popular and busy commercial part of the New City (Ensanche), which starts where the Old City finishes. Enjoy a satisfying first view of the whole city.

    After enjoying some of the most important buildings for everyday local life, finish your tour inside another emblematic building, which is a surprise for all of you.
