What you can expect

  • Begin your tour with a pickup from your hotel in Carcassonne. Hop into a luxury air-conditioned Volvo XC90 4x4 and set off on your adventure.

    Visit three different wineries and have the opportunity to taste and discover up to 18 different wines from some of the most important and notable producers in the region.

    Learn about the history of the wines of the region, the terroir, and the art of winemaking. Find out how to taste and appreciate wines and recognise some of the key grape varieties.

    On returning to Carcassonne, enjoy a lunch of charcuterie, cheeses, and bread along with other local wines.

    Tours will depend on the weather and availability but will normally be to Limoux to discover sparkling wines and then to Malepere for red and white wines or to the Minervois to discover old varietals and red white and rose wines.

    Whatever your level of knowledge you will come away with an amazing experience to remember your holiday by. A wonderful day out that we can further tailor to your requirements.
