What you can expect

  • Enjoy a unique 2-day experience in the Upper Valley, where history, culture, and cuisine intertwine at every stop. We'll begin our journey by heading towards Laguna Angostura, enjoying the enchanting scenery before you settle into your accommodation with its privileged view. We will continue to Tarata, a colonial town steeped in history, where you will explore its main square, the Melgarejo Bridge, and the San José Convent.

    Discover authentic experiences, such as pottery making in Huayculi. In Cliza, enjoy a visit to a vineyard with a tasting of artisanal wines before ending the day with a magical sunset by the lagoon.

    On the second day, we will take you to discover the most iconic flavours of the Valle Alto: Arani bread, Punata rosquetes (doughnuts), and traditional chicha, where you will also learn about their history and production process. Explore bustling plazas, historic convents, and natural spaces, culminating in an experience that brings you into close contact with nature. A trip designed to help you connect with the traditions, the flavours, and the vibrant essence of the region.
