Overview

  • Yanagawa Canal Cruise
Glide through the tranquil waterways of Yanagawa, the “Venice of Japan.” Forged 400 years ago, this historic castle town's ingenious network of moats still flows with ancient wisdom. Surrender to the gentle current as a boatman guides you through a living heritage, serenading you with traditional Funauta melodies amidst the poetic beauty of the changing seasons.

    Dazaifu Tenmangu
Founded over 1,100 years ago, this is Japan's premier shrine dedicated to the deity of learning. Stroll the lively approach scented with sweet Umegae-mochi cakes, cross the symbolic arched bridges, and enter a serene sanctuary where 6,000 plum trees bloom in timeless harmony.
