Overview

Your adventure begins at Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine, the spiritual heart of Fukuoka. Don't forget to try a freshly grilled Umegae Mochi (plum rice cake) on the bustling street.

Next, you will be transported to the water city of Yanagawa, often revered as the “Venice of Kyushu. Here, drift through the picturesque canals of Yanagawa on a traditional boat while enjoying the soothing melodies of your boatman.

The afternoon takes you to the charming Yame region with a choice of two delightful experiences.

[● Course A] Sweet lovers can dive into a happiness-filled Strawberry Picking experience. Alternatively, opt to enjoy a selection of drinks and desserts at the Brewery Cafe, 4min walk from the strawberry farm.

[● Course B] Visit the Tea Museum, where you can grind your own premium Matcha tea leaves using a traditional stone mill. The last spot is Ukiha-Inari Shrine, famous for the tunnel of vibrant red Torii gates.

Dazaifu Tenmangu Shrine

One of Kyushu’s most important spiritual sites. Dedicated to the deity of learning, the shrine features elegant arched bridges over a tranquil pond and a historic main hall surrounded by nature. Stroll along Omotesando Street and enjoy free time to sample the famous Umegae Mochi, freshly grilled and loved by both locals and visitors.

Canal town of Yanagawa, often called the “Venice of Kyushu.” Board a traditional Donko boat and glide through peaceful waterways lined with willow trees.
