Located just outside modern-day Split, it features extensive archaeological ruins including a forum, amphitheatre, city walls, basilicas, and early Christian cemeteries. At its peak, it was a thriving urban centre with tens of thousands of inhabitants before being abandoned in the early Middle Ages.
