Embark on a scenic drive to the Sierra del Fraile, located 50 minutes from city centre Monterrey. Marvel at the beautiful mountain scenery while exploring Monterrey's residential area. Upon arrival at the park, we'll take the modern and safe cable car to ascend to 1,100 metres above sea level and enter the caves.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The cable car will not be available from September 22 to 27, 2026. Therefore, the ascent up the mountain will be via a 1.5-kilometer hiking trail. We will provide hydrating drinks for the walk.
Accompanied by a specialised guide, explore the 2-kilometer route inside Grutas de García. The well-lit path with railings allows you to navigate through 16 rooms, revealing spectacular stalactite and stalagmite formations, majestic columns, and walls adorned with marine fossils dating back more than 60 million years.
After leaving the caves, we will return to Monterrey to visit the “Mirador del obispado” (Bishop's Lookout), where we will have the best views of the city.
Conclude your tour as we transport you back to your accommodation, completing a 5-hour adventure filled with natural wonders and panoramic views.
