"Encounter Malacca: Impressions Series," conceived and directed by renowned Chinese director Wang Chaoge, is the first performance to venture outside of China. Over 200 talented local actors use their bodies and voices to depict Malacca's glorious history and related modern culture. The theatre features a 360-degree rotating auditorium, offering a novel and unique viewing experience. "Encounter Malacca" is an immersive performance that tells a series of touching stories about Malacca, showcasing a multicultural, inclusive, and harmonious society. This 70-minute extravaganza, combined with advanced stage technology, perfectly narrates the origins and development of Malacca, tracing the history of this ancient city. Audiences will experience 360-degree rotating seating facing a 240-meter-long stage, multiple rising and falling stages, advanced lighting and sound equipment, and 3D projection mapping, creating an immersive experience of "Encounter Malacca."
