Visit the Lisbon Oceanarium to explore the underwater world. Discover 8,000 marine creatures of 500 species.
The permanent exhibition presents a central aquarium of 5 million litres of saltwater, surrounded by North Atlantic, Antarctic, Temperate Pacific and Tropical Indian Ocean habitats. This creates the effect of a continuous ocean.
The visit covers two levels: terrestrial and underwater, showing different oceanic climates, such as temperate, tropical and cold waters.
