Accompanied by Luciano, a state-certified canyoning instructor, experience a spectacular descent in a unique setting: basalt walls sculpted by water, pools of brilliant turquoise blue, and breathtaking views of the cirque's ramparts. Its name comes from the yellow lichens that colour its walls and illuminate the canyon in the sun.
After a short approach walk, you will be equipped (neoprene suit, helmet, harness) and receive a full safety briefing. No prior experience is necessary: the techniques are taught to you as you go; all you need is to know how to swim and be in good physical shape.
The descent then consists of about 7 rappels and rappel slides ranging from 12 to 55 metres along majestic waterfalls. You progress from basin to basin, alternating between rope descents, natural slides, swimming, and jumps — always optional, as there is an alternative route for each obstacle. The highlight of the adventure: the legendary 55-meter rappel, an aerial and unforgettable moment that has made the site famous.
The adventure ends with an ascent of about 45 minutes on a ridge trail offering superb panoramas of the cirque, with a short section equipped in the style of a via ferrata to finish in style.
Throughout the outing, Luciano captures the best moments in photos — they are given to you at the end of the activity. An intense, athletic, and friendly experience in a small group, leaving you with plenty of souvenirs.
