What you can expect

Jeonju is a charming town, famous for its traditional village, its literary culture and a corollary, its production of “Hanji” paper, so strong it's also used to make walls.
A visit at your own pace, modifiable according to your desires, with Yann, who has been working in the audiovisual sector in Korea for over 15 years.
He's particularly familiar with the city, having been there every year for its film festival and other work opportunities.
We suggest visiting the traditional village, avoiding the more touristy aspects, for example around the Hanggyo Confucian school, which contains trees and buildings dating back several centuries.
We can also take you on a tour of a traditional paper factory.
We can also take you up into the surrounding mountains, to a fortress and temple in the heart of the forest, for an unbeatable view of the city and its region. You don't even have to go far, if you know which way to go!
Jeonju is also the capital of Korean gastronomy, with its “bibimbap”. We can also introduce you to two of the city's other culinary curiosities, very popular with Koreans: “gamek”, old-fashioned supermarkets with adjoining bars, and the “makkeoli paradise”, a traditional rice-based drink. In Jeonju, you can drink it with a myriad of dishes for a derisory price.
