You'll arrive at Kardamena port and get on board the 'Captain Dimitris' boat, which sets sail at 9:30 am.
You'll have five hours to spend on the island of Nisyros, which, despite its small size, boasts of magnificent natural beauty and cultural heritage.
Optionally (for an extra charge of 8€/person) from Mandraki Harbour, you can take a bus to the highest point of the island, 2000 feet above sea level, and get a panoramic view of the surroundings. If you wish, you can also descend into the volcanic crater and witness the moving volcano and bubbling sulphur springs, making it an unforgettable and unique experience.
Our bus will then take you back to Mandraki, a 25-minute journey by road. You can climb around 200 steps to reach the mountain monastery of Panagia Spirani or relax and explore the charming town of Mandraki before returning to the boat at 3:30 pm for the journey back to Kardamena.
The travel time is approximately 45 minutes, depending on weather conditions. You'll return to Kardamena at 4:30 pm, and the beautiful day comes to an end.
