What you can expect

Uncover the hidden secrets of the Nuragic village of Tiscali on Mount Tiscali with this guided hike with pickup from Orosei or Dorgali. Hike through a secret basin that is only accessible thorugh a crack in the rocky walls where Nuragic populations settled the 18th and 15th centuries BC.

Be picked up from your accommodation in Orosei or Dorgali in a spacious Land Rover. Begin your hiking adventure by following the ancient ruts dug by coalmen more than two centuries ago. Travel thorugh the dense woods of the Lanaitho Valley and along high limestone walls.
Pass through the narrow crack of Sa Curtigia, which is the only way to get to a series of spectacular views that stretch all the way down to the Corrasi mountain range. Enter the basin's collapsed cave to see the archaeological site of the Nuragic village of Tiscali.
Stroll through a natural botanical area in the unique microclimate of the basin which is home to rare species like the terebinth and the three-lobed maple tree. Return to your accommodation at the end of your hike.
