Enjoy the distinctive ambiance of trekking and wandering during this small-group excursion. As your guide leads you across the majestic Al Hash Mountain at the highest point by hike (1700m above sea level) in the Jordanian Rockies desert close to the Jordanian – Saudi Arabian border inside Wadi Rum Protected Area.
Over the next two days if required, you'll get insights into its many incredible rock formations over billion years coloured by iron oxides such as yellow-red granite rock, sandstone, and curving arches. Let a guide take you through some of the best spots for desert and mountain vistas in Red and White Desert, Rock Bridge, the Eyes, Elqetter Spring etc.
At the camp, be greeted with a traditional welcome of bedouin tea, have some Arabic sweets and warm culture, sharing stories and watching the milky way over the night with stories among travellers.
Our guided tour lasts 8 hours per day, on 1 or 2 consecutive days including stay. It is a combination of a jeep and a hiking tour. No technical climbing experience is required. Once the first or two day end, we will drop you back at the meeting point depending on your option.
