Activity itinerary

Your experience at the winery will begin with a guided tour through the production facility, where you’ll see first-hand the winemaking process and learn about the history, philosophy, and unique techniques, like the ancient Armenian method of “kakhani,” when grapes are hung for 2-3 months to dry before they’re used to make wine. After the tour, you’ll head to the cellar for a seated tasting around a shared table, where you’ll sample four of a distinct wine: Ariats Voskehat Dry White, Ariats Areni Rosé Dry, Ariats Areni Kes Kakhani Red Dry, and 365 Pomegranate Reserve Semi-Sweet Wine. Each wine will be introduced by your guide, who will explain its unique characteristics and production method. Your tasting will be accompanied by a selection of Armenian cheeses, dried meats, lavash chips, and fig jam. To conclude, you’ll have the opportunity to visit a shop to purchase wines at exclusive factory prices.
