On this full-day guided hiking adventure we journey approximately 2.5 hours east of our Nashville meet up location deep into the heart of the Cumberland Plateau.  Don’t worry, we’ll make a brief pitstop about halfway along our journey for an opportunity to stretch and use the “potty” lol. We will hike approx. 4 - 5 miles over steep, rocky and slippery terrain.
Cane Creek Falls
  • 45m
  • Admission ticket included
We begin our adventure Cane Creek Falls (85') and Cascades (45'). There is a short walk from the car park the observation deck and nature centre. There is a also a short but fairly steep trail to the creek bed near the base of the cascades. We will explore this area for about 30-45 minutes before crossing cane creek via a suspended bridge.

Experience an exhilarating crossing of Cane Creek suspension bridge - 120ft long and 20ft high above the rushing rapids below. Then we hike the gorge rim approx. 0.75 mile to the Cane Creek Falls Overlook. Fall Creek Falls Overlook
  • 1h
After taking in the views from Cane Creek Overlook, we continue our gorge rim adventure for another 1.25 miles towards the feature attraction, Autumn Creek Falls. We will stop at the famous Falls Creek Falls overlook. We'll spend a bit of time here to allow ample opportunity to soak in the spectacle of these truly amazing waterfalls - Autumn Creek Falls measuring an astonishing 256' and its neighbouring fall, Coon Creek Falls at 250'. Both of these falls are some of the tallest waterfalls East of the Mississippi River and each have impressive shear vertical drops of 250 feet or more.

Next we take a forest trail back to the nature centre car park. Along the way we will once again cross over the Cane Creek suspended bridge.
