Overview

Embark on an unforgettable quad excursion through the spectacular Teide National Park, one of the most iconic landscapes in Tenerife. Our adventure starts with a stop at La Caldera, an ancient volcanic mouth, where you’ll be captivated by the stunning geological formations.
Ramon Caminero, we’ll take a short but immersive trail through the surrounding forest, where you’ll witness the unique volcanic flora and fauna up close.
As we continue, we’ll travel above a sea of clouds, providing a truly magical view that’s perfect for photos. Final stop on our journey will take us to one of Tenerife’s hidden gems, Siete Cañadas, a surreal lunar landscape. The colours you’ll encounter here will stay with you forever.
In a fascinating climb with breathtaking views we will reach a height of 2150 metres which is the highest point in Spain.
The descent back is just as thrilling, we’ll treat you to delicious tapas and drinks while you enjoy a photo slideshow showcasing the highlights of your journey.

La Caldera

La Caldera - 30 minutes The La Caldera Recreational Area is located in the highlands of La Orotava, just beyond the Aguamansa area. It is one of the most comprehensive recreational areas in the north of Tenerife, attracting a large number of visitors year-round. La Caldera offers several amenities, including parking, a bar-restaurant, a large playground, public bathrooms (without showers), barbecue grills, tables, and a camping area. This recreational area is the starting point for numerous trails in the surrounding area. Altitude: 1,000 metres.

It runs along the Siete Cañadas Trail, a section of the historic Camino Real de Chasna, which once connected the regions on the southern slope of the island with the Orotava Valley in the north. It is a flat path with few climbs or descents that runs along a large section of the inner wall of the Circo de las Cañadas, between the sharp escarpments and badlands of the most recent eruptions, through the multiple sedimentary plains or cañadas that give the trail its name. An extensive route that, along its 16 kilometres, will offer us volcanic landscapes of great beauty and geological interest, enhanced by the colorfoul endemic flora (especially in spring) and adorned by the omnipresent Teide volcano.
