Overview

The Huanglong Scenic Area has two daily entry time slots: a morning session and an afternoon session.

Dec 16 - May 31: 8:00-17:30; Last entry: 15:30

How to Use:

  1. Main Entrance:
    Standard Tickets (Adults & Youths): Present your passport at the entrance.
    Seniors (60+): Present your passport at the Ticket Counter to exchange for a complimentary admission ticket firstly.

  2. Cable Car Ticket: If you have booked the cable car, please take the shuttle bus from the entrance to the waiting area. Near the boarding point, you will find a ticket collection point where you can present your passport to the on-site staff for a paper ticket.

  3. Inside Golf Car: If you have booked the Golf Car, please present your passport directly to the staff for validation. A paper ticket is not required.

  4. Entrance Ticket Only: The “Entrance Ticket Only” (for the hiking route) does not include the cable car or any other internal transport.

Know before you book

  • Public transport options are available nearby
  • Travellers should have at least a moderate level of physical fitness
  • Children under 120cm in height or younger than 6 years old can enter and take the cable car for free. Please exchange for a paper ticket at the service centre.
  • Main entrance is free for visitors aged 60+, but they need to pay the full price for cable car rides and the inside shuttle bus. Please exchange for a free entrance ticket on site before entry.

Huanglong Scenic Valley

  • Admission ticket included
Upon arriving at Huanglong, travellers usually start their journey from the entrance. Huanglong was formed over millions of years through unique geological processes, with the calcification phenomenon creating its spectacular terraces and waterfalls. They can first choose to take the cable car to quickly ascend and get a panoramic view, then follow the well-designed plank roads to explore various attractions like the multicoloured Wucai Chi, Zhengyan Caichi, calcified waterfalls, and snow-capped mountains with forests. And of course, they can also simply walk around to soak up every detail. Along the way, they can visit Huanglong Ancient Temple and immerse themselves in cultural activities during the temple fair, making the most of their trip.
