Start your day with pick-up directly from your accommodation in San Salvador in comfortable, air-conditioned transport. We'll head to Cerro Verde National Park, the starting point of the guided hike to the summit of Santa Ana Volcano (Ilamatepec), the highest in El Salvador. During the ascent, which is of moderate difficulty, you'll enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding volcanic complex, fertile valleys, and Lake Coatepeque on the horizon. When you reach the crater, you'll be able to admire the stunning emerald-green lagoon and breathe in the mountain air.
