Activity itinerary

Nereto

  • 50m
We'll meet in the main square and dive into the town's history through its architecture: the Town Hall (Palazzo Comunale), the Church of San Martino, and the characteristic narrow alleyways (vicoli). I'll share stories about daily life and the community's roots.

Nereto

  • 1h
We'll step into a family-run workshop. Depending on the day, this could be a potter, a leatherworker, a pasta maker, or a pastry chef. You'll see traditional crafts in action, chat with the artisans, and have the chance to purchase unique souvenirs directly from the source.

  • 1h
An interactive tasting at a local "bottega" or market stall. We'll sample and learn about the pillars of Marche cuisine: the region's olive oil, cheeses (like Pecorino), cured meats, and the famous Ascoli olives. I'll explain the differences and traditions behind each product.

  • 1h 50m
This is the highlight – a genuine Italian lunch at a trattoria run by a local family. We'll savour classic regional dishes like "olive all'ascolana" (stuffed fried olives), handmade pasta "cacio e pepe" or "timballo," accompanied by local wine and stories. It's a true taste of local hospitality.

Nereto

  • 1h
A leisurely walk through the surrounding hills to a scenic viewpoint overlooking the Tordino valley, vineyards, and the rolling Marche landscape. It's the perfect moment for final reflections, photos, and perhaps an espresso at a small bar before we conclude.
