Discover an unforgettable Jeep adventure through Andalusia’s hidden gems. Start with a thrilling drive through a narrow mining tunnel from 1902, followed by breathtaking mountain views. Enjoy an easy 20-minute hike through a secret tunnel into a nearby valley, filled with historic mining relics. Visit a scenic viewpoint overlooking the impressive Júpiter Pit – a massive open-cast mineral site. Stop at a peaceful Buddhist centre near the summit with panoramic views reaching the Mediterranean Sea. End the tour in the whitewashed mountain village of Bédar, where you’ll enjoy 2 typical Spanish tapas, fresh bread, and a drink of your choice in a traditional Tapas Bar. Activity itinerary

Túnel de Servalico (Pass by)
a narrow, 200-meter-long tunnel built in 1896, once used as a transport route for minerals from the surrounding mines.
Concesión San Manuel
  • 20m
Concesión San Manuel (1870–1942), A historic mining site where valuable minerals were extracted from 1870 to 1942 – an impressive testament to the region’s industrial past. We pass through the San Manuel Tunnel, built in 1902, with a maximum height of 1.30 to 1.60 metres, and follow a straight, elevated path. Along the way, we pass several small caves and a historic loading station for iron ore, until we reach the viaduct Puente Barranco de La Prarda, where our Jeeps will already be waiting for you. Note: The route requires no physical endurance, as it is relatively flat. The views are breathtaking!
Hoyo Jupiter
  • 15m
The "Hoyo Júpiter" (Jupiter Pit) is an impressive man-made shaft in Bédar, created through intensive iron ore mining in the early 20th century, around 1910. Its depth and scale reflect the significant mining activity of the time. Today, it stands as a fascinating reminder of the region’s industrial heritage and is a highlight along the Ruta Minerva. Excellent views from the viewpoint. Children should remain in the vehicle.
Bedar Arts Centre
  • 30m
Buddhist Centre – Rigdzin Namkha Dzong, Bédar Nestled in the peaceful mountains of Bédar lies the spiritual retreat centre Rigdzin Namkha Dzong – Orgyen Khandro Ling, a place of serenity and mindfulness. Founded by students of Namkha Rinpoche, it serves as the main centre of the Rigdzin Community and attracts practitioners from all over the world. During our tour, we enjoy a stunning view of this remote centre and get a sense of its peaceful atmosphere. It's a fascinating contrast to the region’s rugged mining history – and a perfect moment to pause and reflect.
Bedar
  • 35m
Bédar – Charming Mountain Village & Tapas Experience In the picturesque mountain village of Bédar, we stop at a traditional Spanish tapas bar where each guest can choose 2 tapas and a drink of their choice – a perfect taste of Andalusian hospitality. After our relaxing break, we drive back to our starting point where the tour ends. From there, we will take you back to your original pickup location.
