Explore the ruins of Azuchi Castle, once the grand stronghold of Oda Nobunaga and one of the most important castles of Japan’s unification era. Visitors can walk through the historic grounds, see surviving stonework, and enjoy panoramic views from the hillside.

Hachiman-bori

Stroll through the preserved canal district of Omihachiman, known for its white-walled storehouses, historic merchant-town atmosphere, and picturesque streets. This stop works especially well for a self-guided product because guests can walk at their own pace, take photos, browse small shops, or enjoy lunch nearby. Travellers will also have free time to explore the surrounding area at their own pace, with the option to ride the nearby Hachimanyama Ropeway at their own expense if time permits.

Shirahige Shrine
