What you can expect

Discover the traditional Japanese art of Kintsugi during this unique workshop where you will learn to repair broken ceramics by enhancing them with golden powder. Much more than just a restoration technique, Kintsugi is a Japanese philosophy that celebrates imperfections and transforms cracks into elements of beauty.

During this workshop, you will be guided step by step to understand the essential steps: preparation of the pieces, assembly, application of the repair materials, and decorative finishing.

Suitable for beginners, this experience is ideal for anyone who wants to discover a soothing, creative, and meaningful Japanese artistic practice.

If you have an item you want to repair, you need to plan for 4 sessions, spaced at least one week apart. There should be 3 weeks between the first and second sessions, then one week between each subsequent session. If you don't have a specific item to repair, sign up for a date that suits you. You'll repair a small chip on a small plate that you'll take home with you!
