Enjoy a relaxed journey along the shores of Lake Whakatipu and through the rolling Southland farmland to the lakeside town of Te Anau.

Upon arrival in Te Anau, enjoy a relaxed high-tea–style morning tea, featuring barista-made coffee, freshly baked scones with jam and cream, seasonal fruit, and classic Kiwi sweet treats. This peaceful lakeside stop offers the perfect chance to stretch your legs, unwind, and soak in the scenery before continuing your journey towards Milford Sound.

Along the journey to Milford Sound, we’ll make plenty of scenic stops along the infamous Milford Sound Road, allowing you to take in the incredible landscapes—from lush forests to glacier-carved valleys and mirror lakes.

Fiordland National Park (Pass by)

From here, we enter Fiordland National Park and the iconic Milford Road—an extraordinary alpine corridor that reveals a dramatic side of New Zealand, where towering mountains, braided rivers, and the occasional cheeky kea frame the journey to the fiord.

Eglinton Valley

Take in the sweeping beauty of the picturesque Eglinton Valley, renowned for its vast glacial plains and towering mountain backdrops.

Homer Tunnel (Pass by)

Pass through the iconic Homer Tunnel, a 1.2-kilometre engineering feat carved through the Darran Mountain Range and opened in 1953. Linking Te Anau and Queenstown to Milford Sound via State Highway 94, this dramatic passage marks the final gateway into the heart of Fiordland National Park.

Upon arriving in Milford Sound, you’ll board the Sinbad cruise, where you’ll be welcomed with a complimentary glass of sparkling wine. Settle into the spacious vessel with comfortable seating, offering panoramic views as we cruise through the stunning Milford Sound Fiord. As we make our way through the fiord, you’ll have the opportunity to take in the dramatic cliffs, cascading waterfalls, and abundant wildlife that define this iconic destination. Throughout the cruise, you’ll enjoy a locally sourced lunch menu, with Māori cultural influences, adding a special touch to your experience.
