What you can expect

Discover Miyazaki from a different perspective on a guided Brompton cycling adventure designed to combine sightseeing, local culture, and the freedom of travelling by bike.
Begin with convenient pickup from Miyazaki Station, Miyazaki Airport, or your hotel in Miyazaki City. Your local guide will take you to the starting point, where your Brompton folding bike will be prepared and ready to ride.
Cycle through Miyazaki’s tropical coastal scenery towards Aoshima Shrine and the famous Devil’s Washboard rock formations. Feel the ocean breeze and enjoy views of the Pacific that you simply cannot experience from a tour bus.
Stop for a local Japanese lunch before continuing along the beautiful Nichinan Coast. Visit Horikiri Pass and the Phoenix Roadside Station, followed by Sun Messe Nichinan and its iconic Moai statues overlooking the ocean.
Continue to spectacular Udo Shrine, built into a seaside cliff and cave, before discovering the traditional streets and samurai history of Obi Castle Town.
Travelling with children? Families are welcome. A child caravan is available as an optional add-on for young children, making it possible for families to enjoy the experience together.
With transport between key areas included, you won’t need to cycle the entire distance. Your guide combines cycling and vehicle transfers so you can enjoy the best sections of the route comfortably.
More than a sightseeing tour, this is a chance to slow down, ride through the landscape, and experience Miyazaki with a local guide — one Brompton ride at a time.‹
