Mljet has very rich history and there is Odysseus Cave where the Legend say that Odysseus ( from Homers The odyssey ) after surviving a shipwreck found shelter in the cave and stay there for 7 years. In National Park on St. Mary Island there is Benedictine Monastery built in mid-12th century. Mljet is absolute oasis and is away from the crowd. Experience real turquoise waters, cliff jumping and snorkelling.
