Learn and be inspired by the proud past and bright future of the US Navy’s “Silent Service” - from WWII, the Cold War, and today and into the future in the museum.

Tour the USS Bowfin, a fleet submarine that was launched on December 7, 1942, and nicknamed the “Pearl Harbour Avenger.” Bowfin made nine war patrols in the Pacific Ocean during World War II. Learn what it was like for her crew of 80 men to serve onboard.

All admissions include a complimentary audio guide available through our free mobile app with content onboard USS Bowfin, in the museum, and selected outdoor artefacts. Explore the museum's interactive exhibits to better understand what it was like to serve on submarines.
