  • The driver is not a licensed tour guide to accompany you on your walk to Poseidon Temple or inside any other site or museum. Ancient Nemea was a prominent religious sanctuary in ancient Greece, renowned for hosting the biennial Nemean Games and serving as the mythical site where Heracles completed his first labour by slaying the Nemean Lion. Unlike typical cities, it functioned as a sacred athletic and religious complex dedicated to Zeus, structurally similar to Olympia and Delphi.
