Overview

Depart from Siem Reap and head towards Phnom Kulen, considered by the Khmers to be the most sacred mountain in Cambodia. Admire the breathtaking scenery and discover about the mountain's history as the original birthplace of the Khmer culture since 802 A.D.

Arrive at the waterfall of Phnom Kulen, a dramatic sight, tumbling down the rocks. Plunge into the pools and cool off from the midday sun. Pause for a specially prepared picnic lunch.

Leave for Banteay Srei, where a most impressive jewel of Khmer art exists. Erected in the 10th century, this small pink sandstone temple is known as the Citadel of Women.
