Begin your journey with a pickup in a private car along with your trekking guide from your location in Rishikesh. Enjoy a 1-hour (32 km) uphill drive to Kunjapuri Temple, a popular spiritual site perched at an altitude of 1,676 metres (5,500 feet) from sea level.

From the parking area ( the base of the temple ) , climb 350 steep steps to reach the top terrace of the temple, where breathtaking Himalayan views and a serene spiritual atmosphere are waiting for you.

Once you arrive at the temple terraced platform where temple is seated that takes you up with the breathtaking views of the Garhwal Himalayas, including peaks like Swargarohini, Bandarpunch, Gangotri, and Chaukhamba. Witness a spectacular sunrise, a sight that will stay with you forever.

After witnessing the spectacular sunrise over the Himalayan undulating peaks , enter the Kunjapuri Temple to receive the blessings of the residing goddess before beginning your downhill trek towards Neer Waterfalls.

Inside the temple, you will find a priest and the sacred Pindi, a symbolic manifestation of the Goddess. This spiritual stop sets a peaceful tone for the scenic descent that follows.

On your downhill trek, you’ll pass through villages scattered across the mountains, giving you a glimpse into authentic Himalayan life.

The trail leads you through the remote settlements of Dharkot and Bahdhera, where you can observe the unique lifestyle and traditions of the locals.

Keep in mind that the path can be a bit tricky as you approach Neer Waterfalls. Once you reach the falls, you can relax and take a refreshing dip in the cool, crystal-clear waters—a perfect reward after the scenic trek.

After enjoying the waterfall, continue for another 1 km downhill along the valley stream, passing several beautiful tiers of waterfalls. The trail eventually meets the roadside, where your driver will be waiting to take you to your drop-off location in Rishikesh.
