Follow our staff through the beautiful Japanese temple garden and along the peaceful approach to a traditional tatami room. Along the way, enjoy the seasonal scenery and atmosphere of Japanese culture. In the tatami room, watch a Samurai and Oiran dance performance up close. After the show, become Sukeroku and Oiran and experience a scene from the storey yourself. The performers will teach you the movements from the Oiran procession to “Suitsuke Tabako,” the traditional pipe-passing scene. Then perform the scene to music while following their example. Finish the experience with a memorable photo in the final Sukeroku and Oiran pose. You will also receive an original English guidebook to take home.
