Experience a full-day scuba diving adventure in the pristine waters of Steep Point, located within the Shark Bay World Heritage Area. Join Shark Bay Eco Tours, the region’s first and only PADI Dive Centre, and discover a remote marine park renowned for its rich biodiversity and dramatic underwater scenery. Your day begins at Denham Commercial Jetty, where you’ll meet your guides and board a comfortable dive boat, ready to explore some of Western Australia’s most untouched aquatic environments.
Throughout the day, enjoy two guided dives at carefully selected sites around Steep Point. Marvel at vibrant reef edges, ancient limestone formations, and cavernous swim-throughs encrusted with soft corals. Encounter a wide variety of marine life including Queensland grouper, turtles, cuttlefish, stingrays, schools of trevally, and several shark species such as Grey Nurse, Sandbar and Dusky whalers, Wobbegongs, and Tiger sharks. Depending on the season, you may also spot Humpback whales, dolphins, dugongs, and even Whale sharks. The tour is led by experienced PADI Divemasters and Instructors, ensuring safety and sharing their deep knowledge of Shark Bay’s unique ecosystem.
Between dives, relax on board with morning tea, lunch, and afternoon tea provided. Soft drinks and water are included, with alcoholic drinks available for purchase. If conditions allow, a short supervised snorkel may be offered during the lunch break. The tour focuses on small groups (maximum 10 divers), providing personal service and the chance to learn from passionate marine biologists and local experts. After your final dive and refreshments, you’ll return to Denham Commercial Jetty, perfectly placed to continue exploring Shark Bay or reflect on your day surrounded by panoramic ocean views.
