What you can expect

  • Embark on a scenic hike through the Sierra Nevada National Park, the highest national park in Spain. Follow the Los Cahorros trail, passing five suspension bridges, including the longest one in Andalucia, and the breathtaking Tunel de las Palomas river tunnel cave.

    If you're feeling adventurous, take a dip in the crystal-clear waters of the Monachil River or enjoy a refreshing shower under one of the waterfalls along the route. Keep your eyes peeled for mountain goats and Iberian lynxes as you explore this natural paradise.

    The circular route takes about 3 hours to complete and is of easy to medium difficulty. Halfway through, stop for a picnic with local sandwiches, fruits, and snacks, enjoying a great view as you recharge for the rest of the adventure.
