What you can expect

  • Explore the rich culture and history of Saudi Arabia at Tayebat City Museum, one of the
many distinct cultural sites of Jeddah.
The museum displays Hijazi-style architecture with beautiful facades, beautiful courtyards,
and decorative wooden balconies known as rawasheen. Your guide will show you collections
that span over approximately 2,500 years of history, including unique artefacts, manuscripts,
traditional clothing, antique furniture, Islamic arts, and other Saudi regions’ items.
In addition, you will be able to witness collections dedicated to Islamic civilisation and world
heritage, giving you a broad idea of how cultural life is interrelated in Saudi Arabia and other
countries. It’s a place where history, art, architecture, and heritage come together in one
    visit.
It’s an ideal tour for families and an opportunity to get acquainted with the local culture. The
museum is accessible for wheelchair users, and you can take a guide either in Arabic or
    English.
