Experience the thrill of canoeing along a stretch of the Adige River!
No experience is necessary; you will be accompanied by a certified guide throughout the activity.
Together, we will discover the bucolic landscapes of the Adige Valley and the spectacular Ceraino Canyon. You'll experience them in a unique way, with the option of steering the kayak yourself.
The meeting point is at the Albino Armani Winery. Here, surrounded by fine vineyards along the river, you will meet your guides, who will accompany you throughout the experience.
This will be followed by a briefing where you will be given the equipment and taught the paddling technique, the position to maintain in the kayak and the safety rules to follow during the activity.
Ready, set, go! Let the current of the second-longest river in Italy carry you along. Its morphological characteristics make it absolutely calm and suitable for everyone, young and old alike, especially for first-timers.
We will paddle for 9 kilometres along the river, playing a game to spot the camouflaged forts perched on the surrounding hills.
There will be swims in the current, water fights, and lots of fun!
We'll listen to the historical stories that the guides will tell us about the river and the valley, about the ancient Romans, about Napoleon's exploits and about the Great War…
After a winding S-bend, the river flows into the Ceraino Gorge, a striking canyon where the mountains drop sheerly into the river. We will be captivated by the beauty of nature and will reach the disembarkation point happy to have discovered a new sport and a magical, unspoiled area just a few kilometres from Verona.
We will disembark near Villa del Bene in Volargne. From here, we will take you back to pick up your cars at the starting point.
