Overview

Take a look at the royal city from the deck of a modern catamaran, embarking on a short panoramic cruise on the Vistula River. A heated deck and comfortable leather sofas will make you feel at home even on cold days. On warmer days, we invite you to the upper platform to enjoy the beautiful views while spending time outdoors.

Then, follow the footsteps of Jewish cultural monuments in Krakow in a comfortable, eco-friendly golf cart. See authentic monuments in the Kazimierz district and the ghetto that existed during the war in the Podgórze district, and learn more about it.

Finally, with an experienced guide enter the Schindler's Factory Museum - one of the most popular museums in Krakow. Although it is related to the name of a German entrepreneur who saved many Jews by employing them in his elmalia factory, the main topic of visiting the museum is the fate of Krakow and its inhabitants during the Nazi occupation.

Activity itinerary

Kraków
  • 1h
Sailing on a catamaran on the Vistula River on a small two-way cruise, you will get to know Krakow's monuments, visible from the side of the river. Admire all the most important places in Krakow from the Vistula River. See Krakow from a new perspective as you follow the flow of the queen of Polish rivers.
Kosciuszko's Mound (Kopiec Kosciuszki) (Pass by)
The Kościuszko Mound in Krakow is one of the five mounds located in Krakow. It was erected in honour of Tadeusz Kościuszko - a great patriot and leader of the national uprising
Monastery of the Norbertan Sisters (Pass by)
Fortified like a castle, this mighty monastery, founded in the 12th century, was destroyed and rebuilt several times. The most important Krakow traditions are also associated with it: here, on Monday after Easter, the annual Emmaus festival is celebrated. Hence, the Lajkonik procession - the most important symbol of Krakow - sets off every June.
Wawel Royal Castle (Pass by)
The limestone hill rising above the Vistula River is the former centre of power, the legendary (associated with the mythical founder of Krakow and his descendants) and historical: princely, episcopal and royal. Wawel is a complex of castle and sacred buildings - a symbol of the city, but most of all a museum presenting the most valuable monuments of Polish material culture. Take a good look and you will also notice the silhouette of the famous Wawel dragon breathing fire towards onlookers
Manggha Museum of Japanese Art and Technology (Pass by)
The original, modern form of the building housing the museum of art and technology is perfectly seen from the river level. The wavy line of its roof is to refer directly to the waves of the Vistula River.
Church on the Rock (Kosciol na Skalce) (Pass by)
The baroque church of Saint Michael the Archangel and Saint Stanislaus on Skałka rises above the boulevards, right on the Vistula River, on a small hill made of white Jurassic limestones. The basilica is also a national pantheon (many distinguished painters, musicians and poets are buried here) and a library with priceless documents, books and incunabula.
Kazmierz The Former Jewish District
  • 1h 30m
Once independent, the city situated south of Wawel was the hub of Jewish life in Kraków for centuries, and today it is one of the greatest tourist attractions of the city.
Szeroka Street (Pass by)
Szeroka Street is the heart of Jewish Kazimierz. Let a testimony to its significance be the fact that four synagogues used to stand on the street, which was unheard of anywhere else in Europe.
Muzeum Krakowa - Stara Synagoga (Pass by)
Standing on Szeroka Street Street, known not only as the stage of the final concert of the Jewish Culture Festival but also as the centuries-old centre of Jewish life in Kazimierz, is one of the oldest synagogues in Poland preserved in such a good condition.
The New Square (Pass by)
Plac Nowy, today a popular meeting place and festival venue, was once known as Plac Żydowski (Jewish Squre). In 1900, a circular pavilion was erected in the middle of the square, with small grocery and butcher shops, and a fast-food bar with delicious casseroles, famous today in Krakow. On weekdays, the square is filled with stalls selling vegetables and antiques. On Sunday mornings it turns into a busy clothing market. The whole square is surrounded by cafés and pubs popular in the city, which on warm summer nights spill over the square and form one giant beer garden.
Ghetto Wall Fragment (Pass by)
A small fragment of the original wall around the former ghetto, preserved to our times, with a plaque commemorating the fate of the inhabitants
The Ghetto Heroes Square (Pass by)
Situated in the Podgórze district, which in 1941 was turned into the Krakow Ghetto, the former Plac Zgody [Concord Square] was designated 'Umschlagplatz' under the Nazi occupation, the place where the Jews had to congregate to be deported.
Muzeum Krakowa, oddzial Fabryka Emalia Oskara Schindlera
  • 1h 30m
  • Admission ticket included
During the tour and thanks to it: - You will learn facts from the history of World War II through their impact on the everyday life of ordinary people in multicultural Krakow. - You will see the real headquarters of Deutsche Emailwarenfabrik and hear about its owner, Oskar Schindler - an entrepreneur, known from the Oscar-winning Spielberg film, who saved many of his employees from inevitable death. - The heroic deed of Oskar Schindler resembles his office, happily preserved in the factory administration building, which houses a symbolic "ark of survivors" made of thousands of pots, like those made by his employees during the war. - Thanks to the modern multimedia installation, you will walk along the cobbled streets of the city, enter the photographer's atelier, look at the hairdresser, get on the tram, as well as see a typical apartment in the Jewish ghetto, and then find yourself with its inhabitants in the Płaszów camp... and more
