City Game in Würzburg – Team Event & Group Experience

After a short introduction, the teams (up to 20 participants possible as 1 team) set off with their game documents into the festively decorated Old Town of Würzburg. At various stations, tricky riddles, creative team tasks, and small challenges related to Würzburg's history, landmarks, and customs await. Along the way, the groups collect points and clues to solve the mystery of Würzburg's history.
At the end, all the teams meet again – at a relaxed, exclusive wine tasting with Franconian wines, the winning team is chosen, and the scavenger hunt through the city comes to a close in a convivial atmosphere.

The city game is ideal for corporate and club groups, friends, company outings, tourists, or tour groups who want to discover Würzburg in a playful and sociable way. It is suitable for small groups of about 6 people or more as well as for larger teams of up to 200 participants, as the groups can be divided into smaller teams. Whether as a company outing, a team event or an entertaining stroll through the city with friends – the scavenger hunt through the city ensures fun, exercise and a great atmosphere in the heart of the historic old town.

The Alte Kranen, one of Würzburg's most impressive landmarks, rises directly on the banks of the Main. The Baroque building was built between 1767 and 1773 according to plans by Franz Ignaz Neumann, the son of the famous architect Balthasar Neumann. With its two huge wooden cranes, it was once used to handle wine, salt, and merchandise transported on the River Main.

Today, the Alte Kranen is a popular vantage point and meeting point, from which you can enjoy wonderful views of the river, Marienberg Castle, and the Old Main Bridge. Inside there are historic vaulted rooms that offer an atmospheric ambience, especially in the evening lighting. When the building is artfully illuminated in the dark, it exudes a very special, almost fairy-tale charm – a highlight of every city walk or city game. The open vaulted rooms can be used as a bad-weather option for the active stations, so no one gets wet feet.

Itinerary: guided city game with puzzles and experiential educational team tasks, followed by a wine tasting.

Highlight: To finish, you can choose to enjoy an exclusive wine tasting with Franconian wines; non-alcoholic alternatives are also available. In the winter months, we are happy to offer exclusive winemaker's mulled wine.
