10 of the best hotel pools in Sydney

A city stay in summer isn’t complete without somewhere to cool off. Our Sydney Hotel Experts helped us round up our favourite Sydney hotel pools just for you, so what are you waiting for? Dive into our top 10 list:

1. Sofitel Darling Harbour

The newly opened Sofitel Darling Harbour is one of the hottest stays in town, so it’s no surprise the pool is turning heads too. Plunge into the infinity pool and take in the breath taking city views. Bonus points for Le Rivage Pool Bar, the perfect spot for poolside cocktails.

2. Primus Hotel Sydney

The Primus has been impressing visitors (and us!) ever since it opened in the CBD a couple of years ago, and the roof top pool area – newly open to the public – is no exception. The luxe space features a poolside bar, known for its signature cocktail the Rosé Spritz, and refreshing cocktail popsicles, as well as a menu made for sharing with friends.

3. The Old Clare Hotel

With a private rooftop pool exclusively for the use of hotel guests, you’ll feel part of a pretty special club when you hang poolside at this Sydney gem. Nestled atop a converted brewery and pub, The Old Clare Hotel pool allows you to take in views of the inner city while cooling off in their 18m private lap pool. We love the fresh vertical garden vibes.

4. Holiday Inn Old Sydney

You might be surprised to know this unassuming hotel in The Rocks boasts one of the most picturesque roof top pools in the city. With Harbour Bridge views to your left and the Opera House right in front, this one ticks all the iconic Sydney boxes.

5. The Langham, Sydney

Usually we can take or leave indoor pools, but this one is the leader of the pack. Part of the hotel’s day spa, the Langham’s turquoise, indoor heated swimming pool is surrounded by gorgeous stone columns and a star-dappled sky ceiling.

6. Novotel Sydney Manly Pacific

This one is a bit of a hidden gem, but it’s too good not to share. Located on the Northern Beaches, hop on a ferry to Manly, then hop on up to the Novotel’s rooftop pool, where you’ll be spoilt with panoramic ocean views stretching from Queens cliff to Shelly Beach.

7. Vibe Hotel Rushcutters Bay

When Harbour or beach views are too cliché, you can’t beat a buzzing urban outlook to go with your splish-splash time. Settle in on the sundeck and enjoy the park outlook.

8. Crowne Plaza Coogee Beach

Location, location. Need we say more?

9. InterContinental Sydney

With glass-window panelling showcasing Sydney’s sparkling Harbour below, bask in the luxury of an indoor heated swimming pool as you relax and unwind on level 31 of the Inter Continental Sydney. Because pool time should be all year round.

10. Adina Apartment Hotel Bondi Beach

Nestled in a quiet corner of Bondi’s chic Hall Street, the Adina Apartment Hotel Bondi Beach’s pool is where it’s at when you’re done with beach time. With 25 metres of pool action and a year-round temperature of 24 degrees, guests are able to swim ‘til their hearts’ content, rain, hail, or shine.
