"Ideal Hotel for an inner City stay"
On arrival I was greeted by a Male employee who seemed to work in the Café next door. The Hotel and Café share the same foyer. Although the Café employee was very pleasant, all I was wanting to do was check in but the Male individual looking after the front desk had disappeared. When the individual finally returned to the desk he started asking the normal booking questions but I could hardly hear him as there was a full on conversation going on between employees in the office area next to reception. I'm glad he took the initiative to close the door to the office so we could get on with the check in process. Which was pretty much, here's the access card to your room and the lift is over there. This is a very clean and well presented apartment property that I would definitely recommend to those who are wanting to stay in the inner city.

"Value for money."
I stayed here for a weekend while in town for a sports competition, and it was cheaper than the backpackers! The room and facilities were very clean and tidy, and staff were friendly and knowledgable. I had the Inner Urban Double room, which has no window. It's ok short term, but would probably pay a little extra next time for a window. If sharing the room, I'd suggest being very comfortable with your roommate as it's a small room and the frosted glass that creates the bathroom/toilet area doesn't block all vision and it kinda feels like someone is taking a shower in your bedroom.

"Great location "
Right next to the park and gardens, nice and quiet location. Rooms are nice and have recently had a revamp but paint and plaster and bathroom could still use a little tidy up. All up a good experience and would def. stay again

"handy to city and airport"
The only issue we had was the room allocated to us was quite dark and had no sun on a sunny Chch afternoon. So we asked for a sunny room and the owner moved us to an upstairs room facing north and away from the road...that we were very happy with.

"Good Hotel in Middle of Chrishcurch"
New hotel. Friendly staff. Good room service and very good food from in house restaurant. Parking is bad at present. Entrance in progress. Wifi should be free and price seems to be excessive. Costs for primium movies but TV is otherwise better than average. Room was clean and comfortable. The did not have my Wotif reservations but this seems a problem for Wotif. Staff remedied problem smoothly.

    Pocket Guide: Christchurch

Christchurch is a world-class destination where the locals are brave, resilient, resourceful, and ready to put on the ritz for their guests. Sounds perfect, doesn't it? That's what you'll have when you stay in one of our Christchurch hotels. Don't let a few earthquakes scare you; despite the challenges that the city has faced since 2010, the people of Christchurch are rebuilding their city stronger and better than ever. Oh, and did we mention the gorgeous mountain and ocean views?

Perhaps the best of those views are seen from the Port Hills, which is popular with hikers, birdwatchers and mountain bikers. The views may be pretty, but many of Christchurch's gardens are equally gorgeous. In fact, Christchurch is known around the world as "The Garden City". The Christchurch Botanic Gardens, Hagley Park and Mona Vale Gardens are some of the most popular. If you're in Christchurch in February, make sure you attend the Festival of Flowers, or the Ellerslie International Flower Show in March. Flower festivals aren't the only popular annual events in Christchurch, though. There's also the International Busker Festival held in January, which features buskers from all over the world performing throughout the city.

A fairly new attraction in Christchurch is the Re:START Mall. This strip of shops is housed in brightly coloured shipping containers, and opened in 2011, as a bit of a protest against Mother Nature and as a symbol of the comeback-spirit of Christchurch locals. Head down to the mall to pick up some bargains and have a great cup of coffee. If you'd like to do a coffee crawl, make sure you visit Addington, which is famous for its cafes and live music scene. Throughout the city, quite a few "pop up" bars have made their mark since the quakes, where cocktails are often stirred and shaken inside a bus, while the bar-goers sit at funky tables and chairs, under the stars in an empty car park.

The Christchurch airport is only 15 minutes from the CBD. You can get around the city by bus, and there are also lots of cycling tracks. If you want to explore other parts of New Zealand, Christchurch is serviced by inter-regional trains. So, for a holiday in New Zealand's ‘Reimagined City’, check out these cheap flights and book your Christchurch accommodation today.
