Big room comfortable bed

Loved it! Easy walking distance to the lake and heaps of cafes. We stayed in the budget 2 bedroom self contained cottage and although old it was the perfect choice for us and excellent value for money. I thought we would be really cold but there were heaps of blankets and more than enough heaters to go round. Great spot to set yourself up in for access to Cardrona and the Snow Farm. Hot water and pressure were great. Only thing I didn’t love was that there was no drop box for the room key as we departed early. I didn’t feel right leaving it in an unlocked box that could easily be opened by the next person and I didn’t have a code handy for the safe box. It was a little stressful figuring out what to do when we were in a hurry to leave for a full day on the slopes. I ended up giving the key to the guy in the office next to reception. Overall would recommend and stay again!

Close to Christchurch airport for last night of our South Island adventure . Lovely quiet room with an awesome bed & spa bath . Nice 👍

Nice clean, quiet hotel in the centre of Christchurch at a good price.

Buildings and playground were a bit tired but cabin facilities were good
