It’s a Courtyard, so nothing much to say — they’re all pretty much the same. The room was too small for us, and the bathroom wasn’t very user-friendly either.

Stayed there for transplant games booked two rooms for 5 night's was okay complained they did not put tea and coffee in room was assured it would be sorted by the man on the front desk never happened after spending £600 per room was not impressed was asked if i would like a print out of my bill i said yes was then told it would be on line why ask if you can't do it

Disappointed!!

Hotel generally ok, but my issue is with the breakfast offering and staff knowledge! We needed gluten free options, and there were non on show! When we asked the staff, we were told that there were gluten free cornflakes in a cupboard somewhere, so they went to find someone who knew where, then we were told, there was also gluten free bread .... in the freezer!!!! A hotel of this standard should surely be able to do better than that???

I wouldn't stay again

The hotel could do with looking a bit nicer within the rooms; the decor feels a bit dated. I went to the bar and met a friendly member of staff who instructed me that I could sit either in the bar or the restaurant for food. It was empty, so I went and sat in the restaurant. The first thing the restaurant staff said to me was, "There's a sign at the front that says wait to be seated". That's easy to miss when you go straight into the bar. I was also given the wrong main meal, and it was again questioned by the staff member. She then went to get a menu to compare what I had ordered before she agreed that I had been given the wrong meal. The starter and main meals also just came out when ready, no asking if I needed 5-10 minutes. The food was terrible. The reception staff were very polite, nice and informative.

The stay was very nice with a good reception on arrival. However the room felt neglected. The chair in the room had the stuffing coming out of both sides and I feel that this should have been replaced before anyone stayed in that room. The quilt cover on one bed was torn and screwed up and it looked as though it had been mangled in a machine, again I do not think that this should have been used on a guest's bed. We were there to visit relatives so we weren't in the room very long so I didn't complain at the time. Otherwise it was clean.
