This is the second time I've stayed at Zeist Lodge. It is very comfortable, quiet, and the staff is wonderful. The restaurant is also very good. I will stay there again during my next visit to Ethiopia and I highly recommend Zeist Lodge. There are only a couple of small issues: The electricity goes out occasionally (as it does in Ethiopia!); the hotel has a generator but it often takes quite a bit of time before it is turned on--it would be useful to have it turned on more quickly especially at prime times (6-9 am and in the evening). The hotel is difficult to find if you don't already know where it is. Though I know how to get there is difficult to provide directions to someone who has not been to the hotel. A few strategically placed directional signs would be useful. Again, a great hotel!

I would definitely return here. Rooms are clean and the staff are helpful and friendly
