Perfect getaway in the Cretan hills

We had a great stay at George's villa. The villa is well equipped with dishwasher/washing machine/fridge/bbq etc. The property really was spotless and there was plenty of cleaning equipment to use in the store cupboard. The pool is great with plenty of places to sit and soak up the rays. The views of the surrounding hills and the bay of Plakias are incredible. The village in Lefkogia also has a well stocked supermarket and nice family run taverna that was very cheap. The large town of Plakias is about a 10 minute drive or 50 minute walk and has plenty of bars and restaurants. I would recommend renting a car so you are able to travel down in to Plakias and the nearby beaches. We wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be back.

Superb villa

George was an excellent host. The property suited our needs perfectly. Plenty of space for a teenage family and we loved the balconies,views, large garden and the pool. The property was very clean with an extremely well stocked cleaning cupboard. We felt completely safe staying here during a pandemic.

Traumhaftes Haus im Südwesten Kretas

Wir haben ein großes Haus für vier Personen mit eigenem Pool gesucht, das nicht unbedingt direkt am Meer liegen muss, dafür ruhig gelegen ist - und genau das haben wir gefunden. Die Villa liegt etwas außerhalb Lefkogias, inmitten von Olivenhainen, fünf Traumstrände sowie exzellente Tavernen sind mit dem Auto in fünf bis maximal zehn Minuten erreichbar. Die Gegend ist eher von Individualtourismus geprägt, die Kies- und Sandstrände sind auch im Hochsommer nie überfüllt. Nachbarn sind weder zu sehen noch zu hören. Das Haus ist exzellent ausgestattet, vor allem die Küche, wir haben nichts vermisst. Der Pool ist groß und sauber und wird täglich gereinigt. Unsere Kinder bewohnten den ersten Stock (Schlafzimmer, eigenes Bad, eigene Dachterrasse) alleine, das Erdgeschoss verfügt über ein weiteres Schlafzimmer, Wohnbereich mit Küche, Bad und Terrasse. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter vor und auch während unseres Aufenthalts kann man nur als optimal bezeichnen. Wir hatten eine großartige Zeit und werden sicherlich wiederkommen.

Sehr schönes, sehr gut ausgestattetes Haus in einer wundervollen Gegend,

Wir haben uns im Haus, bzw. auf dem Anwesen sehr wohl gefühlt. Es war uns während unseres zweiwöchigen Aufenthaltes auf Kreta ein wunderbares ‚zu Hause‘, Ausgangspunkt und Ziel unserer Exkursionen, ein wunderbarer Ort zum erholen, entspannen und um die Seele baumeln zu lassen. Das Haus/Anwesen ist in einem sehr guten Zustand und bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen Urlaub braucht. Es ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Auch die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber George war sehr zuverlässig. Ein ganz liebes Dankeschön!!!

Echt een aanrader

We hebben echt genoten! Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien en erg comfortabel. Zelfs toiletpapier, vaatwastabletten, keukenrol, vuilniszakken etc was aanwezig. Een fijn zwembad en leuke tuin met fijne ligbedden en altijd wel ergens wat schaduw. De ligging vonden wij ook perfect. Rustig en dichtbij het klrine - echt nog typisch Griekse - Lefkogia, waar een kleine supermarkt is en ook 2 authentieke taverna’s. Te voet 10 min. Met de auto is het ongeveer 10 min. naar het badplaatsje Plakias. Daar heb je meer taverna’s, diverse winkeltjes, supermarktjes etc. Diverse stranden in de omgeving. Wij vonden de kleine baai van Ammoudi erg leuk. Het bekende “Palm Beach” is ook niet ver. Diverse uitstapjes gemaakt naar de Imbroskloof, Matala en Agia Galini (allebei erg leuke plaatsjes) en wezen vissen op zee. Kortom: een verblijf in deze villa raden wij zeker aan. Last but not least: de eigenaren zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

We spent two weeks here on holiday with four of us. The house is clean and well equipped. The owner is friendly and always helpful. The view from the upper terrace into the mountains and towards the bay of Plakias is breathtaking, especially at sunset.

Komfortabel eingerichtetes Haus, mit traumhafter Aussicht. Schöne Strände( z. b. Preveli ) und Tavernen mit leckerem griechischem Essen in wenigen Minuten mit dem Auto erreichbar. Der Vermieter George war freundlich und leicht ereichbar.
