Cheap & comfortable place to stay

Nice laidback atmosphere and friendly staff. Great bathrooms and common areas. Dorm rooms big with essentials. Good for a pit stop and if time permits, surf lessons with the manager.

Really Cool Bananas

Firstly I have never stayed in a Backpackers and I only did it as accommodation in town was booked out but I was pleasantly surprised. I expected it to be madness but it was organised and quite clean. Location was good and the lady on reception was friendly and happy.

Great stay

I had a great time here and the place had a good atmosphere. The staff were really welcoming and friendly and I feel like they always wanted to help. The hostel offers a free shuttle bus which was good too considering how late we arrived on the Greyhound. The room itself was nice, pretty basic but for the low price paid this was expected. The beds were comfy and the rooms and bathrooms were clean. They have a kitchen and a nice outdoor area where you can eat so there's plenty of space. They do offer you a key deposit of $10 which isn't necessary unless you want one. I personally found it a little weird that they don't lock any of the dorm room doors either if you didn't want to pay the deposit. It just didn't feel as safe. But overall, I enjoyed my stay and if I ever visit Agnes Water again I will definitely stay here.
