An appalling experience
The pictures bear no resemblance to the hotel. When we arrived, there were at least three staff asleep in the foyer; they had to be awaken move for our check-in (I had booked two rooms). The hotel has not yet refunded the money I paid for the second night as I could not stay there for a subsequent night. I was entitled to a full refund under the terms of hotels.com agreement with them. I have spent more on the telephone trying to sort this out than the cost of the rooms! Hotels.com should intervene, but I have been offered no effective assistance at all.

Terrible place, please don't book there
They gave us a very dirty room nothing to do with the photos, they try to charge again for the room that we already pay one month before we arrived to the Hotel, the sheets were disgusting,blanket smelling, no toilet paper, everything just terrible, unprofessional staff.

Good rooms near East Taj Majal gate
It is located in the hotels area near the East Gate of Taj Maja what makes the visit to the monument very easy, the East gate is the less busy. There is a McDonald, a KFC and a supermarket at very short distances. The train station is 10 km away. Modern rooms but not very clean, I had to use my pillowcase. There was no top sheet as usual in India, amd I had to sleep with cloth on. No breakfast although I think it was included on my booking. Staff speaks English with limitations but they are helpful. No cleaning or collecting of bottles and garbage during the three days I stayed there. They accept only cash. You get for what you pay. Hot water availability was random. Not a stall to have a seat in the room and wifi only at the reception, wich is not big. Big contributor to my horrible experience in Agra.
