We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Akron Fairfield by Marriott, including its soothing hot tub and lavish breakfast. For 2 mornings we were impressed to watch a humble young man single-handedly serving a steady stream of 100+ guests for such a large 3-hour breakfast. He and this Fairfield Inn were great.

The area of hotel is nice for shopping and restaurants. The hotel lobby was nice. The room was clean but for hair in the bathroom. For some reason, this hotel is very noisy. We called the front desk once about 9pm to ask if our neighbor could quiet down. At about midnight we were woken by loud partying in the lobby. I looked out in the hall and noticed there was a door which we shut. It helped keep down the party noise. I would not choose this hotel again.
