You don’t need to waste your money by staying at this hotel. The hotel itself is nice, but the staff are terrible. They are inattentive, and nothing you ask for is delivered on time. You have to constantly chase the staff just to get things done. It was a bad experience and I do not recommend it.

We were able to spend four unforgettable days at the Banyan Tree Hotel in AlUla in mid-January. The whole hotel, the restaurants, the villas, the friendliness and that combined with the incomparable landscape of AlUla and Hegra is really worth a trip. And if there would be an Oscar for the best concierge in the world, no one else but Mustafa would deserve this Oscar. Thank you very much for these very, very impressive days in a very peaceful environment!

Banyan tree is an exceptional resort. Check-in was absolutely seamless. Staff are definitely courteous and attentive. Many of the rooms have their own private pool and we were upgraded to a double suite which was certainly appreciated. Our room was luxurious and incredibly spacious. We used our private pool every day and it was a wonderful option to have. Unfortunately, the hotel did not advertise that their main pool was closed due to falling rocks from above. The pool will remain closed to guests until a permanent solution is found. That could take months. The hotel should warn its guests in advance that the main pool is closed since it is a main draw/attraction for this hotel. The breakfast options were good though we felt the dinner options a bit limited. Although spa treatments were relaxing, the spa facilities are also limited with no relaxation area, sauna or steam room option. Would strongly recommend the hotel consider adding these options in the future. Overall, the resort was beautiful, the staff were excellent and we had it incredibly enjoyable time. Would strongly recommend this hotel to other travellers.

えげつない景色。最高の滞在を経験できました。スタッフの対応は、そこらへんの海外って感じです。日本のラグジュアリーに慣れていてそれを期待するとまったくムリです。中東情勢悪化のため帰国便がキャンセルになり、振り替えなどの対応のためフロントに行きましたが、大したリアクションもサポートも無く本当に心細かったです。唯一スペイン語を話すスタッフが話かけてくださり、泣きそうになりました。
夜も寝るのがもったいないです。
